The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social media strategies, content creation, and community management, specifically within the personal finance industry.
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, driving subscriber growth, and fostering meaningful conversations across a variety of platforms. Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Develop and share engaging content across Tiller’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
- Craft visually appealing posts using written, visual, and video content that aligns with Tiller’s brand voice and messaging.
- Share insights and feedback from the Tiller community across social platforms and forums to build awareness and loyalty.
Community Engagement
- Actively engage in conversations across social media and forums, fostering relationships within the Tiller community.
- Respond to inquiries and comments, encouraging discussions that build a stronger connection with the audience.
- Gather feedback from the community and relay it to internal teams to improve user experience.
Trend Monitoring & Analysis
- Track and monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and evolving best practices to ensure Tiller stays ahead of the curve.
- Engage with trending topics within the personal finance space and adapt strategies to enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to optimize content and improve overall strategy.
Influencer Relationship Building
- Identify and engage with influencers in the personal finance community to amplify Tiller’s brand.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key influencers for ongoing collaboration and growth.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships to increase Tiller’s reach and impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Tiller’s marketing, product, and support teams to align social media strategies with business goals.
- Share community insights and provide ideas to support broader marketing and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Passion for Personal Finance: A strong understanding of financial topics, particularly spreadsheets and budgeting, is essential.
- Social Media Expertise: Proven track record in managing and growing social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
- Content Creation Skills: Ability to create compelling written, visual, and video content that resonates with target audiences.
- Analytical Abilities: Experience in tracking social media metrics, analyzing performance, and optimizing content for growth.
- Influencer Management: Experience in identifying and building relationships with influencers, particularly in the personal finance space.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
